Introduction
Welcome to Gaze at Art. My name is Kay Smith.
Although I trained in technical illustration and design in the late 1980s, I have never until now enjoyed the freedom of painting in different mediums. My career took me away from the drawing board and onto computers.
Now that I have returned to art I work in pen and wash, acrylic inks & paints and watercolour at present.
Anna Sherman was my motivation to begin painting again and is the reason to continue with it. It is with heart felt thanks to Anna and the family for the short time that I had with Anna Painting and drawing.
In 2017 I joined the Lacock Art Group in Wiltshire, a very friendly and inspiring group of artists.
I hope that you enjoy my work and that you continue to follow me through the different stages of this new venture I am undertaking.
